BookmarkDatabase for Macintosh and Windows
Version2.1 (May 20th, 2003)
New Features : Version2.0 (April 19th, 2003)

(1) Tab-Navigation
(2) Color schemes
(3) Independent pages for stashing images
(4) The package contains both "OSX version" and "Classic OS version"

New Features : Version1.40
Jpeg and Gif images can be collected from web pages via drag/drop, which can then be sorted as well as stored.
"Find" can be executed by simply pressing the "Return Key."
There are now two window sizes to choose from. The compact window is ideal as a web companion. It can, however, readily be switched to a larger window where more serious database management can be conducted. The windows "snap" back to their respective window-sizes, which are pre-designated and yet adjustable.

Version History of "Bookmarksman" : Negishi, Jiro (aka, CJ)

(13) "Bookmarksman1.31-English version (for Mac)" is now listed with and made downloadable from Tucows on April 4th, 2002.
(12) "Bookmarksman1.31-Japanese version" and "Bookmarksman1.31-English version" were archived at Info-Mac HyperArchive on April 1st, 2002.
(11) "Bookmarksman1.1"-"Bookmarksman1.21" made their debut at CNET-Download.com on March 26th, 2002.
(10) "Bookmarksman1.21-Japanese version", "Bookmarksman1.21-English version" and "Bookmarksman1.21-Stand-alone Japanese version" were archived at Info-Mac HyperArchive on March 20th, 2002.
(9) It's up to version1.22 on March 21st, 2002. (1) "Note" field is introduced. (2) The number of listed bookmarks is constantly displayed. (3) A single click searches several fields for the keyword.
(8) "Bookmarksman1.2-Japanese version", "Bookmarksman1.2-English version" and "Bookmarksman1.21-Stand-alone version" were archived at Info-Mac HyperArchive on March 18th, 2002.
(7) On the very same day a face-lift boosts it up by 0.01 point and I claim it to be "Bookmarksman 1.21"
(6) Redundant bookmarks can now be deleted at a stroke just by clicking on the "Delete Duplicates" button. This improvement surely deserves another version-up. I declare, on this day of March 18th, 2002, that "Bookmarksman" is now up to version 1.2!
(5) I made up an icon for "Bookmarksman" on March 16th, 2002. This, I admit, is clearly overkill.
(4) Bookmarksman1.0-Japanese" and "Bookmarksman1.1-English" were archived at Info-Mac HyperArchive on March 15th, 2002.
(3) I rewrote Bookmarksman with the English version of Filemaker Pro5.03 and it is now fully functional. I added the pink "Save" button just for the hell of it and decided to call this one "Bookmarksman 1.1."
(2) "Bookmarksman" was archived at Info-Mac HyperArchive on March 13th, 2002. This version, however, turned out to be incompatible with the English version of Filemaker Pro. Larry Lloyd was kind enough to point this fatal bug to me.

(1) I put this together on March 12th, 2002 as a result of having got fed up with the complexity of "URL Manager Pro" and the inadequacy of Internet Explorer's bookmark-handling and also by the way of evading what must be urgently taken care of like much put-off paperwork. I wanted a no-nonsense bookmark database that can display search results and redundant items as a list. What I've managed to come up with is nothing fancy but is good enough for me. If you are interested, download it, give it a spin and either throw it out or keep it. You can do whatever you want with it: it's not password-protected.
